Shillong, June 12: The inter-disciplinary art exhibition ‘Where The Mind is without Fear’ was held at BTU Gallery, Bangkok on Monday.
The exhibition was organized by the Positive Energy Art Foundation, Shillong, and the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Bangkokthonburi University, Thailand. Hundreds of paintings by more than a hundred artists from 10 countries participated in the exhibition, with 30 artists from India, including Prakash Kishore, curator of the exhibition, Raphael Warjri, Benedict S Hynñiewta Naphisabiang Khongwir, Dipankar Sinha, and Divesh Baruah from Meghalaya.
The international art exhibition was graced by Vipul Pawar, head of Chancery, Embassy of India, Mohammad Abdul Hye, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Thailand, Prof. Suchat Thaothong, President of BFA, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Bangkokthanburi University and Mathasit Addok, Dean of Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Bangkokthanburi University, Dr. Suriya Chayacharoen, Director of BTU gallery, as the distinguished guests.
