Orange City Now A Gold City As Well?

Orange City: At a ceremony held at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde disclosed the existence of gold mines in Chandrapur, Maharashtra.

In the Maharashtra districts of Chandrapur and Sindhudurg, he had said, there are gold mines. There has been a commotion in the district about this issue since the CM’s comments. During the survey, the presence of gold was established in Minghari in the Sindewahi tehsil of Chandrapur and in Bamani in the Chimur tehsil.

By the way, the coal mines in Chandrapur are well known. It is now well known that there are copper and gold mines in this region.

In these three locations, actual gold mining will be feasible if the corresponding blocks are given to any private enterprise.

When gold mining begins, Maharashtra’s revenue should rise, according to Chief Minister Shinde. As a result, despite budgetary difficulties, the state’s development programmes will continue.

According to District Mining Officer Suresh Netam, the Geological Survey of India performed a survey for copper metal in this complex between 2013 and 2015. Parts made of gold were discovered during it.

Suresh Netam claims that around 10 wells in this complex have been dug, sampled, and a report has been delivered to the federal government. How much gold is there? Investigative work is being done on it.

This has been validated by the district’s mining department, although it is reportedly in need of more studies and changes.

When some signs of gold were discovered by the scientists doing the study, Suresh Naitam said that the Geological Survey of India Nagpur had undertaken surveys between 2013 and 2015. He said that farming is practised across the entire campus. Water is in low supply in this area. No irrigation system is present.

Due to the rumour that a gold mine exists nearby, the villagers are in a positive mood. People assert that the existence of a gold mine will increase job possibilities.
