Stock market Close: Market Closed with Recovery. IT, FMCG, banking stocks gain

Stock market close: On the day of the weekly expiry, the market started with a heavy fall and closed with recovery till the close. Sensex closed up 224 points at 59,932, Nifty down 6 points at 17.610 and Nifty Bank closed up 156 points at 40,669. Buying in 16 stocks of Sensex while selling in 14. In Nifty 50, 30 stocks closed in red and 20 closed in green. Out of 12 Nifty Bank shares, 10 ended in the red and 2 in the red. Volatility continues in Adani shares. Today, selling was seen in Metal, Energy, and PSE shares in the market. Pharma and infra stocks were under pressure. There was an increase in IT, FMCG, and banking stocks. There was a slight rise in realty and auto stocks.
