Stock market closed: Market closed with a fall on the last trading day of the week

Stock market closed: On the last day of the trading week, the traders were seen trading in the market range. The Nifty closed down 37 points at 17,857 and the Sensex closed down 124 points at 60,683. Nifty Bank climbed 5 points to close at 41,559. 27 out of 50 shares of Nifty closed in red and 23 in green mark, 7 out of 12 shares of Nifty Bank closed in green and 5 in red mark. There was buying in 12 Sensex stocks, while there was selling in 18. Selling was seen in Metal, Energy, and FMCG stocks. IT and PSE stocks were under pressure. Realty and auto stocks saw slight gains, Nifty Bank closed flat.
