”MP Streets now will be known by the names of the daughters” : CM Shivraj

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan takes a unique step in the field of women’s rights and their respect in the heartland state.

The CM has started naming streets after the proud daughters of the state. The Chief Minister announces that ‘Ladli Laxmi Path’ will be prepared in all the districts of the state, and working on ti has already been started. For this, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has chosen the polytechnic route from Bharat Mata Chouraha in Bhopal. This is the first route which has been inaugurated as ‘Ladli Laxmi Path’.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “The tradition of naming roads after big people is an old tradition. Today, for the first time in the country, a road is being named after daughters. The road from Bharat Mata Square to Polytechnic Chouraha in Bhopal which is Smart City Road, will now be known as “Ladli Laxmi Path”. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the inauguration program “Ladli Laxmi Path” at the Bharat Mata Chauraha.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that there is no other honor greater than the respect of daughters. We have decided that “Ladli Laxmi Path” will be developed in all 52 districts of the state. Information related to women empowerment, schemes run for the welfare and advancement of girls and women, will be displayed on both sides of these paths.

This will help make mothers, sisters, daughters and society aware. Chief Minister Chouhan said that implementation of Ladli Laxmi Yojana has been the most important work of my life. Daughters should be able, happy and achieving t success in their life -this is what is my wish.

Chief Minister Chouhan greeted the ‘Ladli Laxmis’ involved in the program with his blessings and by showering flowers upon them. Ladli Laxmis also took selfie with Chief Minister Chouhan. Ladli Laxmi Avni Srivastava, who came from Shahdol, told that the amount received from the scheme has helped her in getting higher education. Avani is currently pursuing BCA course. Avni thanked Chief Minister Chouhan for taking care of the nutrition, education and career of Ladli Laxmis of the state.
