Anupam Kher Tweets After PM Narendra Modi Pens Letter On Satish Kaushik’s Death

On March 9, the actor and filmmaker Satish Kaushik suffered a heart attack while attending a Holi festival event in Delhi. After his body was returned from Delhi, his funeral was held by many celebrities in Mumbai. As the industry mourned his tragic death, India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote a letter to the actor’s family during this difficult time. Following this actor Anupam Kher twetted and shared the letter by the Prime Minister.

In Hindi, Anupam Kher, speaking on behalf of Satish Kaushik’s wife, tweeted a picture of the letter. Actor expressed his gratitude on behalf of the family.

Anupam Kher wrote: “Respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi, your sensitive letter has worked as a balm for me and our family in this hour of sorrow and grief,” he wrote. When a country’s prime minister expresses condolences regarding the death of a loved one, one gains the strength to confront their grief. I thank you and ask God to grant you a long and healthy life on behalf of myself, Vanshika, our family, and all of Satish ji’s fans. Best wishes, Shashi Kaushik.

The Prime Minister wrote in Hindi in his letter. PM wrote, “I was very sad to hear about Satish Kaushik’s untimely death.” I offer my condolences to you and your family during this difficult time. The late Satish Kaushik was a complex character; his talent made a significant contribution to Indian cinema. He was a great writer, actor, filmmaker, and producer who excelled in all of his roles. He was uplifting and established areas of strength for a point for his loved ones. It is impossible to put into words his grief. His family will carry on his values and memories even though he is no longer here.

In 1985, Satish Kaushik and Shashi Kaushik got married. Sanu Kaushik, the couple’s son, passed away in 1996. Vanshika, the couple’s second child, was born in 2012.
