KK’s Death Anniversary: It has been an year since Krishnakumar Kunnath(KK) passed away. Last year on May 31, 2022 the country lost one of its most eminent singers who had a global fan following while performing in a music concert in Kolkata.
The social media is flooded with posts and messages remembering and giving tribute to the legendary singer whose songs have touched millions of heart across the world. Legendary singer Shaan also remembered KK as he shared a very close bond with him. Singer Iman Chakraborty paid a tribute to KK on his first death anniversary by sharing a post on her instagram where she wrote, “We love You @KK.”
Last year, singer’s sudden demise has shocked the entire nation. According to the reports he was unwell during the stage show in Kolkata but he did not stop and continued to perform in the event which was overcrowded. After sometime, he lost his consciousness and was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead.
KK started his career in 1999 with album ‘Pal’ with songs like Aap ki dua, yaaron, Pal got hit in no time, earning him a huge fanbase. His next album ‘Humsafar’ was released in the year 2008. KK has sung songs in several languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telgu, Kannanda, Malyalam, Marathi, Odia, Bengali, Gujrati and Assamese. Kk’S songs Ankhon me teri, dil ibadat, labon ko, kya mujhe pyar hai, tadap tadap were loved by the audience for the outstanding combo of his soothing voice and brilliant music.
