Humongous Box OfficeCollection:  Black Panther

Wakanda Forever does well on Saturday as well, demonstrating once more that there is a need for big-screen entertainment.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has once again demonstrated that there is a waiting audience for movies to be released in theatres.

Black Panther: Waknda Forever had a successful Saturday as well after collecting a very excellent opening of 12.50 crores on Friday. With 14 crores* coming in, the movie’s numbers increased, which is also pretty strong.

In essence, there is an increase in foot traffic, which is good news in and of itself because the Marvel movie might have had a slight reduction as well after an unexpected double digit opening, and that wouldn’t have been awful either.

The movie has earned 26.50 crores* as of right now, which would have been impressive even if it had just been a weekend haul for the superhero movie. Thor: Love and Thunder, the previous major release from Marvel, had a weekend gross of 46.40 crores, and while the picture won’t be able to match that, it will undoubtedly break the 40 crore mark, which is excellent.

In essence, there is a rise in foot traffic, which is good news in and of itself since after an unexpected double digit opening, the Marvel movie might have very well had a slight decline as well, which wouldn’t have been awful either.

With its current gross of 26.50 crores*, the movie would have been successful even if it had only been a weekend hit for the superhero movie. Thor: Love and Thunder, the most recent blockbuster from Marvel, earned 46.40 crores over the course of a single weekend. While this film won’t hit that level, it will undoubtedly surpass 40 crores, which is excellent.

Even if not all films can be event releases, there must at least be a large screen thrill associated with the aesthetics or the plot, as we just experienced with the Bollywood film Brahmastra. Awaiting the final numbers
