Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, stated that the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana was created to empower women.

Economic empowerment is the most important aspect of empowerment. When women have money, they gain self-confidence and self-respect. That is why, as part of the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana, we have decided to deposit 1000 rupees into the accounts of all eligible sisters every month.

Women who are between the ages of 23 and 60, or married, have a family income of less than 2.5 lakh rupees per year, and own less than 5 acres of land are eligible for the scheme. Every month, a thousand rupees will be deposited into the accounts of such deserving women. The CM stated this in a message distributed via social and electronic media.

Women need not go to a public service center or anywhere else

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that it is my responsibility to ensure that my sisters do not face any difficulties.

He further said, “As a result, the scheme’s application process has been simplified. The scheme’s forms will be filled out in the wards of your village and city”.

“Sisters are not required to visit the Public Service Center or any other location. Our employees will visit all of the villages and collect the forms. Camps for this will begin on March 25. Camps will be held until all of the sisters’ applications are filled”, he added.

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan stated that in addition to registering their name, husband’s name, mobile number, and so on in the application, the sisters should have three important pieces of information.

“The first is your or your family’s Samagra ID, the second is your Aadhaar number, and the third is your Samagra-registered mobile number”, he explained.

CM further said, “The sisters will have no trouble if they have this information. The application will be completed, followed by e-KYC. The sisters don’t need to go anywhere for this”.

“The e-KYC process will be completed only in village and city wards. Where there is no connectivity, the government will provide for a vehicle to transport the sisters to another village or common service centre”, CM added.

Ladli Bahna Yojana: Call CM helpdesk at 181

According to the Chief Minister, there will be no fee for e-KYC. The government will pay Rs 15 to the respective Common Service Centers for one e-KYC.

“If any sister is asked for money for e-KYC, she can call the CM helpline number 181 and file a complaint. Such people will be imprisoned”, he added.

“There is no need to give money to anyone. What good is it to be a brother if my sisters are in trouble? So don’t be concerned. Stay in your town or village. Our team will contact you, take you to the camp, and complete all necessary paperwork. E-KYC is used to ensure that money only goes into the accounts of sisters”, he went on to say.
