The launch programme of the GTTC India Mongolia Forum was organized at the Embassy of Mongolia in New Delhi on Friday. Upendrra Rai, Chairman, MD, and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express participated in this programme where ambassador Ganbold Dambajav launched the GTTC India Mongolia Forum. Keeping in view the strengthening relationship between India and Mongolia, this event was organized at the Embassy of Mongolia.

On this occasion, Upendrra Rai emphasized the relationship between India and Mongolia. He also spoke on the increasing trade between India and Mongolia. The chief of Bharat Express also referred to PM Narendra Modi’s visit to Mongolia in 2015. He mentioned that Prime Minister Modi was presented with a horse as a gift during his visit to Mongolia.

He further said, “Mongolia was a crucial step in what India and Indian foreign policy considered to be on their top priorities, and our Prime Minister covered that stage in less than a year, giving India’s relations with Mongolia a fresh lease on life.”

“We travelled with prime minister Manmohan Singh to Cambodia, Mongolia, Vietnam, and Japan in 2013. Nevertheless, the trip to Vietnam and Mongolia was postponed, so we instead travelled with him to Cambodia and Japan..”, he added.

While this event, Global Trade and Traditional Council of India and Mongolia Forum started today, the book ‘Rich History and Culture of Mongolia’, authored by Gaurav Gupta, was also released.
