Delhi MCD Results 2022: Bobby Kinnar Lands Victory For AAP

Delhi MCD Results 2022: Bobby Kinnar, the first transgender candidate to be put out by any Delhi ruling party, has won from Sultanpuri-A. (Ward No. 43). Although the AAP has achieved a significant victory, the transgender community, which now has a voice in mainstream politics, has gained even more.

In a great win for the transgender community, Bobby Kinnar of the Aam Aadmi Party won the 43rd ward of Sultanpuri-A. A transgender candidate was put out for the MCD elections in Delhi for the first time, and she has since won.

Bobby Kinnar, 38, has long served as an advocate for the transgender community. She hopes to bring the problems facing her community to light by entering politics. She completed her studies up to class IX but was forced to leave school after that. However, her lack of a formal education did not prevent her from contributing to society. In order to provide every child in her community with a proper, foundational education, she even manages a primary school.

In addition, Bobby Kinnar leads the “Hindu Yuva Samaj Ekta Awam” Anti-Terrorism Committee’s Delhi chapter, an organisation she has been affiliated with for the past 15 years.

Since the Anna Hazare agitation, Bobby has been connected to Arvind Kejriwal and has collaborated closely with AAP. But by fielding her, the party has greatly benefited. She last ran in the MCD elections in 2017 as an independent candidate, but she was unsuccessful. But this time, she and the party have won handily because to the political support of AAP, Bobby’s humanitarian activities, and widespread popularity.
