Domestic LPG Cylinder Rates Increased By Rs 50 In Delhi, Now Will Cost Rs 1103

Days before the Holi celebrations, Delhiites are set to experience a price hike in domestic LPG cylinders as the rates increased by Rs 50 from today onwards i.e. Wednesday, according to the digital finance portal Goodreturns.

LPG cylinder rates increase by Rs 50 in Delhi

According to the news agency ANI, the non-subsidized (14.2 kg) cylinders in Delhi will now be sold at Rs 1103, earlier it was for Rs 1,053.

Meanwhile, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinders has been hiked by a massive Rs 350 and will now be retailing at Rs 2119.50 in Delhi.

Taking notes from the last fluctuations in rates, in 2022, the rates of domestic LPG cylinders were last revised. It was hiked four times last year with a cumulative rise of Rs 153 – Rs 50 in July, Rs 50 and Rs 3.50 in May and Rs 50 in March.

The price of commercial cylinders was increased by Rs 25 from January 1 2023, costing Rs 1,768 in Delhi.

The LPG price in India is determined by the state-run oil companies on a monthly basis and is subject to change.

This is the second biggest one-time hike after the hike of Rs 350 per cylinder weighing 19 kg in 2014. Commercial LPG is back above Rs 21,00 per cylinder for the first time since June 2022.
