Energy hub Singrauli to become the development engine of MP: CM Shivraj

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh today distributed free plots of land to 25 thousand 412 homeless poor families in Singrauli district under the Chief Minister’s Residential Land Rights Scheme and transferred Rs 135 crore 68 lakh to the accounts of thousand 678408 beneficiaries of Rewa division under the Chief Minister’s Kisan-Kalyan Yojana, with a single click.

Along with this, they also laid the foundation stone of the Level Crossing ROB on Bargawan-Baidhan Road costing Rs 35 crore 7 lacs, the Government Medical College building to be constructed at a cost of Rs 248 crore 27 lacs, the Mining Engineering College to be constructed at a cost of Rs 60 crore 30 lacs and CM Rise Schools costing Rs 33 crore in village Hirrahwah Baidhan and Rs 31 crore 40 lacks in Chakaria.

Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the scene he witnessed in this program for the welfare of the poor at the invitation of CM Chouhan is wonderful. He said, ”I had no idea of the crowd that I am seeing here. Chief Minister Chouhan is receiving continuous blessings from the people. He is a down to earth worker ready for the welfare of the people. As is our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, so is Chief Minister Chouhan. The welfare of the poor is the mantra for the Central and State Governments and is also our commitment. It is the CM’s nature to try to solve the problem.”

Union Defense Minister Singh said that very virtuous work has been done in Madhya Pradesh by allotting land free of cost to poor families for housing. He said that providing residential plots free of cost to more than 25 thousand families in the energy-rich Singrauli district is a wonderful task. This great work has been possible only because of the commitment of Chief Minister Chouhan towards the welfare of the poor.

The Defense Minister said that by the year 2024, every poor family will get a roof over their heads. Every family will start getting drinking water at home. Every family will start using gas cylinders for cooking. This is not a small thing. There is no scheme like Ayushman Bharat in the whole world. In this scheme, poor families are getting free treatment facilities up to Rs.5 lakh. He said that what our government says, shows by doing so. Prime Minister Modi is sending 6 thousand rupees to the farmer’s bank account every year. Chief Minister Chouhan is sending an additional Rs 4,000 to the farmers’ accounts.

Union Defense Minister Singh said that former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi used to say that his government sends 100 paise from the center to the public, but only 14 paise reaches the public, but now Prime Minister Modi’s government sends 100 rupees to the public, so The entire Rs 100 reaches the public’s account. ”We have curbed corruption. The Central Government is starting a medical college in every district in the country. Till now, other 642 medical colleges have been completed in the country. The AIIMS are also being constructed in every state,” added the Defense Minister.

Union Minister Singh said that the students passing out from the Government Mining Engineering College of Singrauli will provide technical assistance not only in Singrauli, but also in the country and abroad. This is a big task of the Shivraj government. The medical college will also be opening here soon. He said that the process of allocation of mines has been made transparent. Earlier, only 4-5 kilometers of roads were being constructed daily in the country, now 37 kilometers of roads are being constructed daily. He said that in the year 2014, 92 out of 100 mobiles were not made in India. Today 97 percent of mobiles are being made by Indians in India. India is not lagging behind even in car manufacturing. Leaving Japan behind, the country has joined the three top car manufacturing countries of the world. India is also second in steel manufacturing.

Union Defense Minister Singh said that we are moving towards self-reliance in the defense sector. In the defense sector, our country used to import weapons and tanks etc., today the work of making them by Indians has started in India. We will also export defense material to other countries of the world. He said that India’s economy was ranked 10th in the world eight years back. Today our economy has reached the 5th position. By the year 2027, India will be at the third place and by the year 2047, India’s economy will be at the first place in the world.

Union Minister Singh said that Prime Minister Modi has always talked about goodwill and brotherhood. We are associated with politics for the development of the country. We have to say to Congress that do not play with India’s pride and glory. Whatever the BJP says, it does. It pays whatever cost it has to pay.  There will be no credibility crisis in Indian politics if BJP is there. Whoever keeps an evil eye on the border, will be given a befitting reply. We are proud of the soldiers of the Indian army. People also will give a befitting reply to those who talk baselessly. The development of a developed nation is being done under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a prosperous and developed nation is being built under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Under the leadership of the Union Defense Minister, our Indian Army is ready to deal with every crisis. They say that we will not tease anyone and if someone teases, we will not spare him. The Chief Minister said that it was due to India’s capability that during the crisis in Ukraine, 30 thousand of our children returned safely carrying the tricolor of India.
Singrauli will not be left behind in the race of development

Chief Minister Chouhan said that no stone will be left unturned in the development of Singrauli district. Singrauli will not lag behind in the race for development. This powerhouse will become the engine of development of Madhya Pradesh. Singrauli-Rewa-Jabalpur industrial corridor will also be built soon. Chief Minister Chouhan said that along with the Medical College, the foundation stone of the Mining Engineering College is also being laid in Singrauli. Energy College will also be started along with Mining Engineering College, which will increase employment opportunities among the local youth along with skill development.

‘Campaign to improve the lives of the poor is going on’

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a campaign is being run to improve the lives of the poor in the state. Along with ration, education, health, housing, employment, other facilities are also being made available to the poor. Today, more than 25 thousand poor houseless families of Singrauli district are being given residential plots free of cost. Along with this, Rs 135 crore 68 lakh has been transferred to the accounts of more than 6 lakh 78 thousand farmer beneficiaries of Rewa division.

‘No poor family will remain without a house on the land of MP’

Chief Minister Chouhan said that we have taken a resolution that no poor family will remain without a house on the land of Madhya Pradesh. For this, continuous campaign is going on in the state. The grand campaign to give free plots of land to all such poor families who do not have land to build houses under the Mukhya Mantri Awasiya Bhu Adhikar Yojana has started. Against the target of construction of 38 lakh houses given to Madhya Pradesh under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 34 lakh houses have been completed. The Chief Minister said that in rural areas as well as in urban areas, eligible people will be given houses by making residential plots or multi-storeys.

‘MP first in the implementation of many schemes of the Central Government’

Chief Minister Chouhan said that he is happy that today Madhya Pradesh is at the first position in the implementation of various schemes of the Central Government and the needy poor have got the benefit of these schemes. All sections along with the government have played an important role in this campaign to change the lives of the people. The Chief Minister said that all-round work is being done for self-reliant Madhya Pradesh. Many schemes are being run to connect the youth with employment and self-employment. The process of recruitment of 1.25 lakh in government departments is in progress. Recently an investment of Rs 15 lakh 42 thousand 505 crore has come in the GIS held in Indore. With this development, 29 lakh employment opportunities will be created.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that today’s program being held in Singrauli is a ritual of service to the poor, which will continue in the entire state. More than 25,000 poor families of the district will be able to fulfill their dream of housing on the gift of a residential plot. At the time of the previous government, the poor were dependent on God, today we have given the poor the rights of water, forest and land along with housing. The Chief Minister said that the first priority of the state government is the welfare of the poor. Many schemes and programs are being conducted for their welfare and benefits are being provided by reaching the homes of the poor. Along with free education to the children of poor and middle class families, the fees for higher education are also being paid by the state government. At present, the government has paid the fees for higher education of 2 lakh 50 thousand children. He informed that under the Ayushman Yojana, more than 3 crore Ayushman cards of eligible families are being made and treatment facility of up to Rs 5 lakh per family is being provided.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the portal will be re-opened for the farmers who have been deprived of registration for paddy purchase. A monthly amount of one thousand rupees will be given to the sisters of Baiga family of the district. The work on the Sidhi-Singrauli highway is progressing at a fast pace. Will get it completed within the time limit. After the program, the Chief Minister reached among the citizens and listened to their problems and gave instructions to solve them.
