“Hindus Should Carry Sharp Knives”: Pragya Singh Thakur

Hindus have the right to respond against those who harm them and their dignity, according to BJP Member of Parliament Pragya Singh Thakur, in response to the murder of Hindu activists.

The MP for Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal Parliamentary sector also urged the community to keep knives sharp in their homes, stating that everyone has the right to self-defence.

“They have a heritage of jihad, and if nothing else, they adore jihad. Even if they love, they commit jihad. We (Hindus) adore the deity, much as a sanyasi loves his god “Thakur said.

Pragya Singh Thakur at Hindu Jagarana Vedike

She said this at the Hindu Jagarana Vedike’s South Region annual convention here on Sunday: “According to Sanyasi, the genuine notion of love can not exist in this world created by God until all oppressors and wicked people are removed. Respond in the same way to those engaging in Love Jihad. Protect your daughters and instil good principles in them.”

She also advised people to carry knives sharp at home for self-defence, citing the deaths of Hindu activists such as Harsha of Shivamogga. “Keep weapons in your homes, at the very least sharp knives used to chop vegetables… I have no idea what circumstance may develop when…. Everyone has the right to self-defence.

If someone breaks into our home and assaults us, we have the right to respond appropriately “She stated.
Thakur advised parents not to educate their children in missionary institutions, claiming that “by doing so, you will open the doors of old age homes for yourselves.”

“The children will not be yours or from your culture. They develop selfishness as a result of the culture of old age homes “She stated. “Conduct pujas at home, read about your dharma and shastra, and teach your children about it so that they understand our culture and values,” she continued.
