India decorates for the 74th Republic Day in  tricolour

74th Republic Day: New Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Varanasi(UP), Jan 26, In preparation for Republic Day, a number of venues around the nation were decorated in Tricolor. India is celebrating its 74th Republic Day on January 26, as it was on this day the Constitution of India came into effect in 1950, making India a republic and replacing the Government of India Act 1933 as the governing document of India. The republic Day 2023 celebrations in the country will begin at 7:30 am on January with the hosting of the national flag by President Droupadi Murmu in New Delhi.
