Know The REASON Why DK Shivakumar Agreed To Be Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister…

The contest for chief minister in Karnataka between the two leading candidates was ultimately settled on Thursday when DK Shivakumar agreed to the arrangement that Siddaramaiah would serve as the state’s sole chief executive.

“Rahul Gandhi called me,” says DK Shivakumar

“Everything is well; everything will be well,” Shivakumar assured the media. We had made a simple decision: we would follow the high command’s ruling. Finally, Rahul Gandhi called and told me that we all needed to cooperate.

“Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, also called and expressed this regard. Regardless of how the formula was developed, we have all accepted it, he continued.

Oath ceremony to be held on May 20

On May 20, Siddharamiah and Shivakumar will both take the oath of office. On that same day, the cabinet expansion will also happen.
In charge of Congress in Karnataka for the event of taking the oath, Randeep Singh Surjewala invited allies from various parties.

“The service of people is our sole formula,” he declared. Anyone who wants to serve the people may do so in any number of ways. All of our allies will be welcomed to the ceremony of the oath-taking. Those who wish to fight for democracy and preserve the Constitution are welcome to join the event, but this is not a party.

A strong CM and Deputy CM for Karnataka

It should be noted that DK Shivakumar is one of the wealthiest politicians with a solid base, whereas Siddaramaiah is a mass leader who joined Congress in 2006 after being expelled from the JD (S).

According to data from the Election Commission, Congress won the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023 with a sizable vote share and a sizable number of seats, claiming 136 seats.
