Mass wedding held in Uttarakhand, married couples went emotional, showered blessings on MLA Umesh Kumar

Umesh Kumar, an independent MLA from Khanpur, Uttarakhand, took a noble responsibility and organized the wedding of 21 couples today. Many couples looked quite emotional during this special ceremony where both Hindu and Muslim couples got married. The couples were also gifted household items like beds, sofas, and electronic equipment. The localites of Khanpur marked their presence in large numbers in the event.

The Wedding Ceremony

Umesh Kumar representing Khanpur Assembly Constituency of Uttarakhand has been appreciated by the people of the society for taking up this noble cause. The families of the young boys and girls who became the bride and groom thanked Umesh Kumar. The wedding ceremony was held at Chandan Palace in Luxor, Haridwar, Uttarakhand.

Karisma with Prashant, Ajitha with Ajeesh, Swati with Nikhil, Priyanka with Ashu, Ashu with Sakrampal, Swati with Ankit, Swati with Ankush, Komal with Rahul, Preeti with Arjun, Manika with Surendra, Shivani with Akash, Sonia with Avilash, Kajal with Milan, Hasan Jahan with Sulaiman, Farmani with Afzal, Rakhi with Shabham, Shalu with Gagan, Noor Jahan with Parvez, Bhooriya with Ankit, Anjum with Usman, and Farzana with Amjad got married today.

Umesh Kumar’s old connection with social service

In 2002 Uttarakhand Assembly Elections, 44-year-old Umesh Kumar won as an independent candidate from Khanpur constituency. According to the election affidavit filed with the Election Commission, his profession is related to agriculture and he is a media advisor as well. Umesh Kumar is a graduate and owns property worth around 9 crores. He has been serving the poor and needy for a long time. It is said that due to his social service, his popularity among people has increased many-fold.
