NIA on full swing: Crackdown on gangsters at 60 locations

Across India the National Investigation Agency is conducting raids at sixty locations around the country.

The crack down on gangs and crime syndicates by the NIA is an alarming trend for the all wrongdoers across India. At present the raids are being conducted in Delhi, NCR, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.

The intention of the investigation is an open message against the gangs operating from abroad and behind bars in India. The raids are based on 2 FIRs registered by the Delhi Police Special Cell under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) against ten gangsters.

The list of the gangsters also includes the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, the Bambiha gang and the Neeraj Bawana gang among the targeted ten.

Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav recently had stated  that there is a strong nexus between terror groups and the gangsters. These gangsters are found involved and arrested in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case. The top cop also revealed that this nexus were being exploited by Pakistani terror agencies.
