It’s Shinde’s Shiv Sena now : EC order allows Eknath faction’s right on Shiv Sena name & bow-arrow symbol too

Today is the Maharashtra CM’s day. Eknath Shinde is now the legal captain of Shiv Sena along with its right over bow-arrow symbol as per the orders of the EC.

The Election Commission today on Friday the 17th ordered in favor of the Eknath Shinde faction of Shiv Sena. And as per the EC order today the Shinde faction will get its official name of Shiv Sena along with the bow-arrow symbol of the Balasaheb Thackeray party.

Amid the ongoing tussle between the Uddhav Thackeray faction and Shinde faction over these rights Friday 17th February has been a decisive day. The historical rebellion spearheaded by Eknath Shinde witnessed the collapse of the Uddhav Thackeray government. And that was followed by the two factions’ staking claim on the Shiv Sena name where the original symbol of the bow and arrow was also not clear about its future political status.

The issue so far was pending with the EC whereas the bow and arrow symbol was frozen simultaneously. The requirement of the the bypoll was fulfilled by allotting the two factions two different symbols where the Shinde faction of Shiv Sena was given two swords and a shield, Uddhav faction flaming torch.

The Eknath Shinde Shiv Sena is now going to throw a huge party for its workers over the legal victory which is not less than a big time shock for Uddhav Thackeray faction.

Now, a lot of the other Shiv Sena (UBT) men are going to join us because the symbol and the party name belong to us now.”
