Peace, Harmony & Prosperity Increasing In Northeast With All-Round Development: Indresh Kumar

The ‘Vibrant North East’ program was organized on Thursday at Maharashtra Sadan, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi. The chief guest at the occasion was Sh. Indresh Kumar, Central Executive Member of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh and patron of Muslim Rashtriya Manch. BJP national spokesperson- Tom Vadakkan, Rajya Sabha MP- S Phangnok Konyan, Pratap Palla from Bharatiya Christian Manch and national media in-charge of Muslim Rashtriya Manch- Shahid Sayeed were also present in the programme.

Addressing the gathering, the RSS leader said that this event is a commendable step to introduce the people of Delhi to the cultural heritage of the North East. The people of North East are always ahead to contribute to the progress of the country. Be it the fight for freedom or working to make the country a developed nation after independence, they have always contributed.

Indresh Kumar said that more attention has been paid to the development of the North East after the Modi government came to the centre. Many new projects have started in all the states, due to which, along with increasing basic facilities in those areas, employment opportunities have also increased. Along with this, peace, harmony and prosperity are also increasing in the North Eastern states.

Northeast is on the path of development:

On this occasion, Indresh Kumar said that there was a time when incidents of violence used to be very common in the North Eastern states in which many innocent people died. But ever since a strong government of strong will has come to the center, there has been a complete reduction in all kinds of violent incidents. Today, the northeastern states are walking on the all-around path of development, which is the effect of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s plans.

Targeting Rajiv Gandhi Govt:

Criticizing the Rajiv Gandhi government, Indresh Kumar said that at one time the central government used to send 100 rupees, then 15 rupees were used for development works and the remaining 85 rupees were used for bribery and scams. And this acceptance was of the then PM only, but today during the tenure of Narendra Modi, 100 percent of the entire rupees are spent on development works, and there is no scam or scam.

Criticism on Conversions:

The senior leader of the Sangh and the chief patron of the Indian Christian Manch targeted the conversion in gestures… said that all religions should follow their respective religions and respect each other. If we interfere in other’s religions or try to convert religion, then there will be trouble and opposition, which will become a hindrance in the way of development and harmony. There will be conditions of unrest and tension. Therefore, everyone should avoid these things considering their responsibility. Indresh Kumar emphasized that whatever may be our religion, overall we all are Indians living in India.

Every kind of gift to the Northeast:

The special guest of the program, Rajya Sabha MP Bhubaneshwar Kalita said that the government is paying full attention to the development of the Northeast. Whether it is about laying a network of roads, about railways, or increasing air services. The Modi government has given every kind of gift to the Northeast. The Prime Minister himself also reviews the development works of North East. The program was organized under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence in collaboration with social worker Pratap Palla and Adilila Foundation.

The programme concluded with the cultural program where artists presented songs and folk dances of the state.
