“Planning For My Sisters Made My Life Successful And Becoming Chief Minister Meaningful”, Says Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan

At the Ladli Bahna Mahasammelan in Ratlam today, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said to the sisters, “My life has been successful, and becoming the Chief Minister has been meaningful by planning the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana”.

Chief Minister further said, “I have always had a soft spot for sisters and daughters. I initially created the Ladli Lakshmi Yojana, which when it was implemented successfully turned the girl child in the state from a blessing into a curse in order to stop injustice towards daughters. So, this plan of mine will help my sisters become independent and give them social power”.

The Chief Minister said that by working together, we would usher in a new era in which everyone in the state is joyful and has no tears in their eyes. May everyone’s day be filled with joy and smiles.

He further said, “The state should be developed by brothers and sisters walking together. My life’s goal is to see my sisters happy. If necessary, I’ll sacrifice my life for you as well”.

At today’s Polo Field Ratlam Ladli Bahna Mahasammelan and inauguration-Bhoomi Poojan program of development works, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan took part.

From the stage itself, he performed the bhoomi-pujan-inauguration of construction projects worth Rs. 1374 crore. Moreover, rewards were given out to the recipients of several public assistance programs.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan presented the Ratlam district’s development brochure while also touring the venue’s development exhibition, which had been put together by numerous departments.

According to Chief Minister Chouhan, Madhya Pradesh is seeing a rise in the social, political, and economic empowerment of women.

Madhya Pradesh CM said, “The daughter had previously been viewed as a burden. I thought that if I have a billionaire daughter, she won’t be seen as a financial burden, which is why the state created the Ladli Lakshmi Yojana. In the state now, there are 44 lakh and 50,000 Ladli Lakshmi. The government presents the daughters with a 30-thousand-rupee savings certificate at the moment of birth. Girls receive Rs 2,000 in the sixth grade, Rs 4,000 in the ninth grade, Rs 6,000 in the eleventh grade, Rs 6,000 in the twelfth grade, and one lakh rupees when they turn 21”.

Mr. Chouhan said, “Daughters receive Rs 12,500 when they enroll in college and another Rs 12,500 when they graduate. For their entrance to engineering and medical schools, Uncle Shivraj is also paying their costs”.

According to Chief Minister Chouhan, the state’s gender ratio has increased from 900 daughters to every 1000 sons to 956 presently. The goal of our entire effort is to have 1000 sons to 1000 daughters.
