Prime Minister Modi: Lakhs Of Teachers Contributed To Making Of National Education Policy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated today that the government is developing new chances to meet the demands of the 21st century, and the new National Education Policy was made with these considerations in mind.

The Prime Minister said during Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sangh Adhiveshan, the 29th Biennial Conference of All India Primary Teachers’ Federation, that lakhs of teachers contributed to the development of the National Education Policy.

In his remark to the gathering, he said that his meeting with teachers has aided the government in formulating policies at the national level.

The PM said, “Our education system is transforming, and teachers and children are also transforming. In this transformation period, how we will move forward is important… My interaction with teachers has helped us in formulating policies at the national level”.

“Lakhs of teachers have contributed to the making of the National Education Policy this time…today, India, making new opportunities as per the needs of the 21st century, and the new National Education Policy was made keeping this in mind”, the PM added.

The conference’s topic is ‘Teachers are at the Heart of Transforming Education’.

During his one-day visit to Gujarat, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several projects costing approximately Rs 4400 crores.
