SBI Faces Public Outrage; Bank’s Server Not Serving Customers

The bank server not replying has been the subject of numerous complaints to the State Bank of India. Many services, including net banking, UPI transfers, and the official SBI app (YONO), are currently unavailable. (13:04 hrs).

On the microblogging site Twitter, several people voiced their worries. Additionally, the outrage was noted on Down Detector India’s official Twitter page, an outrage tracking website. Users have reported that the State Bank of India (SBI) has been experiencing issues since 9:19 AM IST, they said.

SBI informs its customers

SBI released a circular on April 1 informing customers that the platform service would be unavailable due to annual closing activities, but the bank clarified that the service would only be unavailable from 13:30 to 16:45 on a particular day.

The national bank faces public outrage

The uproar occurred this morning, April 3, when users began experiencing difficulties logging into their accounts. (net banking, UPI payment, website). The news only appeared on social media once they were unable to pay anyone through different means. Your safety is our top concern, the bank tweeted on Twitter even after the outrage began to grow. SBI is not bothered by its services, says a tweet

SBI did not respond to the angry customers on Twitter who asked about the reason for the outrage. A user wrote on SBI’s Twitter post: ” No official statement from SBI on outage….when are services expected to be up and running? Or is SBI not bothered about it? First working day of FY and users are not able to login for 3 hours now…. whatever maintenance was done yesterday seems to have screwed up things.”

There has been no official statement about the outrage by the time of writing.
