‘Sisters Are Becoming Self-Dependent In Madhya Pradesh, And They Are Being Valued In The Family And Society’ CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended the Ladli Bahna Sammelan-cum-Chief Minister Residential Land Rights Scheme distribution ceremony at Sonkutch in Dewas district today. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a social revolution is taking place in Madhya Pradesh, in which sisters are becoming self-dependent and their respect in the family and society is increasing.

In the Livelihood Mission, where the government is providing assistance to women organised in the form of self-help groups for various economic activities, they will be given an amount of Rs. So far, 44 lakh and 90 thousand daughters of the state have been made millionaires in the Ladli Laxmi Yojana.

Increased amount of Kanya Vivah/Nikah scheme

Chief Minister Chouhan attended the Ladli Bahna Sammelan-cum-Chief Minister Residential Land Rights Scheme distribution ceremony at Sonkutch in Dewas district today. He inaugurated (bhoomi-pujan) development works costing about Rs 90 crore. Also distributed the rights letter of the Chief Minister’s Residential Land Rights Scheme and benefits of other schemes. Chief Minister Chouhan said that by ending injustice to daughters in Madhya Pradesh, they have been made a boon. Under Chief Minister Kanya Vivah/Nikah Yojana, the government gets every poor girl married. The Chief Minister announced an increase in the amount given so far in this scheme from 49 thousand to 51 thousand.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that sisterhood is not just a scheme but a sacred relationship between brother and sister. In Madhya Pradesh, sisters are being empowered in every field. Schemes like 50 percent reservation in local bodies, reservation in the recruitment of police and teachers, and exemption from stamp duty in the property registry have empowered the sisters.

It is our endeavour that the income of each sister should be at least Rs. 10,000 per month. The aim of my life is to bring smiles to the faces of my sisters. Forms for 2 lakh and 80 thousand sisters have been filled in the Ladli Bahna Yojana in Dewas district. Ladli Bahna Sena is being formed in every village and ward to monitor the schemes related to sisters.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that in the Chief Minister’s public service campaign, camps are being organised in every village and ward, in which officers and people’s representatives are working for the people. Now no one will have to wander here and there for small tasks. Their work will be done in the camp of their village ward. The Chief Minister said that since April 1, all the liquor vending machines have been closed in the state. He instructed the Superintendent of Police to strictly stop the sale of illegal liquor.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the area under irrigation is increasing rapidly in the state. Narmada water has been brought to Dewas district. In the 58 villages of the district where Narmada water has not yet reached, Narmada water will also be delivered there soon.

Under the Nal-Jal Yojana, water is being supplied to every house through a tap. Under the scheme, one lakh and thirty thousand connections have been made in Dewas district. Chief Minister Chouhan instructed that physical verification of the works done under the scheme should be done.

Unemployment will go away in the state

Chief Minister Chouhan said that there will be no unemployment in the state. Every person will get work according to their efficiency. Along with training, earning opportunities are also being given to youths in twelfth and higher education. Along with learning, youth will be given an honorarium of Rs 8 to 10 thousand per month in the 700 areas identified under the Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana. About 2.5 lakh people are linked to self-employment every month in the state. The process of recruitment for one lakh government posts is going on in the state and will be completed by August 15. After this, recruitment will start again.

Chouhan started with Maa Saraswati Pooja

Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated the programme by lighting the picture of Maa Saraswati and the worship of girls. Sisters presented rakhi to Chief Minister Shri Chouhan. The girls handed over letters of thanks to them on behalf of their mothers. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan showered flowers on the beloved sisters. I also interacted with public service friends.
