Never Wish “HAPPY Good Friday” To Anyone; Know Why

Good Friday is an important holy day for Christians across the world. This day marks the crucifixion of Jesus Christ by the Roman Cavalry. The story behind this day is that Christ went through immense suffering and death to eliminate the sins of his children and liberated them from the pain and agony by going through it himself. This year 2023, Good Friday is being observed on April 7. The Sunday after Good Friday is ‘Easter’.

Easter is the day that makes the resurrection of Christ. On Good Friday Christians go to church and seek blessings. Some people do fasting and engage in prayer to honor the suffering that Christ went through for the sake of humanity.

Why we don’t wish ‘Happy Good Friday’

The day honors the memory of Jesus Christ, who was crucified and forced to pass through a jeering mob after being arrested. Later, he was hanged until his death after being nailed to the cross by his wrists and feet. It is said that Joseph of Arimathea wrapped Jesus’ body and carried it to his own brand-new tomb. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary visited the tomb early on the first day of the week after the Shabbat, according to Matthew 28:1. He has left; he has ascended, as he declared. (Matt 28:6).
