Tejashwi Yadav: The cold has started wreaking havoc in the entire state including Patna, the capital of Bihar. Seeing the cold, Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav was seen distributing blankets to those sleeping on the footpath in Patna on Tuesday midnight. Wearing a black tracksuit, Tejashwi first reached the R Block intersection, where he inquired about the condition of the homeless people sleeping on the roadside and gave them blankets.
During this, local rickshaw pullers gave information about the night shelter located at R Block, which was built in the year 1995 by the then Chief Minister of Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav. Rickshaw pullers told the Deputy CM that now that night shelter is lying in a dilapidated condition.
Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav instructed Municipal Commissioner Animesh Parashar.Restart the dilapidated night shelter and make it a double story. After this, Tejashwi took stock of the free temporary shelter made by Patna Municipal Corporation located in R block. Along with the people sleeping there, know about the facilities provided by the corporation. Many beds were lying vacant in the shelter, on this the officials told the Deputy Chief Minister that many rickshaw pullers do not want to come here leaving their rickshaws on the road for fear of theft. They are brought to the shelter after being explained by the employees of the corporation.
After which Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav instructed the officials. Make a box at all the shelters where the problems of the people can be written there. Along with this, Tejashwi also instructed the officials. Make a separate free temporary place for women in the vacant space under the flyover.
People were very happy to see Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son and Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav in this form. During this, the youth present there were seen taking selfies with Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav.
