The couple had planned to marry in May 2020, but the epidemic forced them to postpone their wedding thrice.

Despite the delay, the couple has moved on with their lives, purchasing a home together in September 2018 and adopting French Bulldog dogs Alfie and Freddie into their family.

Jonassen, a left-arm spinner who can also bat, has been a member of Australia’s side for almost a decade.

She was a member of Australia’s winning teams at the 2020 T20 World Cup and the 2022 ODI World Cup.

The 30-year-old participated in the just-completed first Women’s Premier League, where she was pivotal in the Delhi Capitals’ run to the championship game.

Mumbai Indians succeeded to win the WPL 2023 while DC struggled to perform with the bat in the championship game.

She will compete in the Women’s Ashes during Australia’s visit to England in June and July of this year.

The T20I series will start on July 1, while the one-off Test will start on June 22. On July 12, a three-match ODI series that follows will begin.
