MI vs UPW Key Highlights: The final of the Women’s Premier League 2023 will be played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. Mumbai Indians defeated UP Warriors in the eliminator played at DY Patil Cricket Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Isi Wong was instrumental in Mumbai’s victory. This 20-year-old fast bowler took the first hat-trick of the WPL.

Issy Wong took three wickets in three consecutive balls in the 13th over of the UP Warriors.Issy got first hatrickOn the second ball of the 13th over, Issy got Nat Sciver Brunt to catch Kiran Navagire. Simran Sheikh was cleanly bowled by Issy on the next ball. In order to confront the hat-trick ball, Sophie Alexton enters. The ball from Issy was outside the off stump. Sophie attempted to fire at it. But the 20-year-old Issy became the first player in the Women’s Premier League to score a hat trick when the ball hit the stumps with the bat’s edge.

Mumbai Indians had purchased Isi for the base price of Rs 30 lakh. She was not given the opportunity to represent England at this year’s T20 World Cup. Issy, on the other hand, bowled superbly in the Women’s Premier League. In the elimination match, Mumbai Indians batted first and scored 182 runs in 20 overs while losing four wickets. As a result, the entire UP Warriors team was run out for 110 runs. By 72 runs, the Mumbai Indians won the elimination game.

The Mumbai Indians will face the Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2023 final after a significant victory over the UPW. The final of WPL 2023 will take place on March 25, 2023, at Mumbai’s Barboune Stadium.

Now as the final is to be played tomorrow, both the teams will try giving their best performance as this is the first even Women’s IPL.
