Yogi Adityanath Show : ‘Bulldozing’ the opposition in Gujarat Poll campaign

One of the top firebrand leaders of BJP, Yogi Adityanath has also appeared in the Gujarat campaign show. The entry of the UP Chief Minister along with his presence raised the bar of the saffron brigade’s expectation in the upcoming state assembly polls.

It was the city of Godhra where leading the roadshow was a yellow bulldozer adorned with the flags of Bharatiya Janata Party.  The venue for the starting off was from opposite the General Civil Hospital of the city with a 100-odd bikes trailing the bulldozer were followed by police car cavalcade this followed with Yogi Adityanath making an appearance waving people atop a truck.

Amidst Jai Shri Ram chanting from the crowd, the Uttar Pradesh CM also started his address with a chant of Jai Shri Ram. Yogi Adityanath said “The sacrifice we have seen in Godhra twenty years ago , that has progressed Gujrat as a model state and the state then curfewed the state of curfew in Gujrat for ever. Now there is no more curfew here, no more riots in the state and every one is safe in Gujrat. Business is flourishing here all the betis and behans are safe in the state”

Yogi also added that the the Ram bhakts ‘s sacrifice had led to the country achieving the “yashaswi netritva (dynamic leadership)” of PM Modi. “The credit goes to the work began in Ayodhya for the construction of a grand Lord Rama temple. The Ram Temple in Ayodhya is a respect of India’s faith and that is also for the Ram devotees of Godhra.”

The campaigning venue in Godhra is around a 3 kilometers from where the fire in a Sabarmati train’s coach set off the Gujarat riots in 2002. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath pointed out that twenty years ago the “sacrifice of the Ram devotees” had ushered in an era of development and peace in Gujrat.
