Hubble Telescope Or James Webb Telescope?

Hubble Telescope: When it comes to new photographs from space, we’ve been spoiled this year. Between the Hubble Space Telescope and the brand new James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), stargazers have witnessed spectacular photos recorded for the first time from previously unknown locales, as well as new perspectives on old favourites. NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope recently took another look at one of our favourites, and the image displays a magnificent nebula.
NASA released another photograph of the Carina Nebula in mid-December. It’s no wonder that this region is the most photographed by the Hubble Space Telescope since it’s stunning. And the new appearance is fantastic.

Could you please clarify what we see in this photograph?

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Carina Nebula, located in the southern Carina constellation around 7,500 light-years from Earth. We’ve known about this region of space for a long time. According to NASA, it was found in 1752 in the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa because it is visible with the unaided eye if you are in the Earth’s southern hemisphere.
This new image is only a small portion of the magnificent space area known as NGC 3372.

But what are we looking at exactly?

According to NASA, it is “an vast cloud of gas and dust” that is “home to several big and brilliant stars, including at least a dozen that are 50 to 100 times the mass of our Sun.”
And, yes, it does glow as shown in the image.
According to NASA, the intense radiation from the stars in the vicinity ionises the gas, causing it to glow. “As stars develop and emit radiant energy winds scatter the gas and dust around them, sometimes forming dark, dusty cloaks and sometimes generating empty areas where the stars may be seen plainly,”.
The Hubble Telescope’s infrared light imaging capabilities enabled scientists to capture this image of the Carina Nebula. These instrument detects longer wavelengths of light, resulting in stunning visuals like this.
This isn’t the first time NASA has released fresh photographs from this region this year. NASA revealed a stunning image of the Carina Nebula using JWST instruments. That has translated image data into music for an entirely new way to appreciate the majesty of the stars.
