Person of the Year 2022: Volodymyr Zelensky Honored by Time Magazine

Person of the Year: The award for the Person of The Year 2022 goes to Volodymyr Zelensky! The Spirit of Ukraine is saluted by the TIME Magazine.

Person of the Year:  Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has been named Volodymyr Zelensky as the Person of The Year 2022 on 14th of December 2922. TIME says he inspires Ukrainians.

Person of the Year:  On the 260th day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the invaders had retreated from the city of Kherson. It was the only regional Ukrainian capital the Russians had managed to some how seize since February 2022 from the start of the all-out war. Kremlin also had promised, Kherson would forever be a part of Russia. But now suddenly news broke – Kherson was free!

Zelensky’s bodyguards urge him to wait. The Russians had left destroying the city’s infrastructure, with no power, water or heat around.

Was difficult to ensure President Zelensky’s safety on the central square. Crowds gathered there were celebrating the liberation of their city’ not far from the range of Russian artillery.

Could not kill or capture Zelensky

At the start, the goal of the Russians was to capture or kill Zelensky for decapitation of his government. During all this while the information war had become Zelensky’s specialty.

Zelensky’s visit strengthens Ukrainian will

The leader of Ukraine now in the Russia’s claimed city blows a hole through the stories of imperial glory and conquest. This is what the Russian propagandists had been doing for months in order to justify the war. Zelensky’s visit to Kherson now deepens the embarrassment of the Russian retreat strengthening the Ukrainian will to carry on through the winter.

Road to recovery to begin soon

The same way soon they expect long road to recovery is about to begin when many of Ukranian citizens would want a return home. Zelensky says that he does not want his people to fall into a depression, that’s why he has visited here to tell them that Ukraine has returned, that it supports them.

The comedian is known for his toughness

Now in the ten-war-months Zelensky had aged as well as changed “from all this wisdom that he never wanted.” Now his transformation is starker. The President’s aides who once saw him as a lightweight, praise now his toughness.
