Rishabh Pant Health Update: BCCI’s First Statement On Rishabh Pant’s Accident

The first statement has come from the BCCI on Pant’s injury. An MRI scan will be done to find out Pant’s injuries and for his further treatment.

BCCI Update on Rishabh Pant: The Board of Control for Cricket in India said in an official statement, India’s cricketer Rishabh Pant, who became a victim of a car accident on Friday morning. Giving an update on his health, the BCCI said that he has two cuts on his forehead and a torn ligament in his right knee. The statement said that Pant also suffered injuries to his right wrist, ankle, toe and his back.

Rishabh’s condition remains stable, and he has now been referred to Max Hospital Dehradun. Where his injuries will be examined and MRI scan will be done for his further treatment.

Jai Shah, secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, while giving an update on wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, said that he is stable and his scans are being done. Pant is injured in a road accident.

Rishabh Pant badly injured in road accident

On Friday morning, 25-year-old Pant’s car crashed into a road divider on the Delhi-Dehradun highway and caught fire. He was admitted to Max Hospital in Dehradun. Pant was returning to his home in Roorkee.

Shah tweeted, My prayers are with Pant who is struggling to recover from his injury. I have spoken to his family and the doctors treating him. Rishabh is stable and undergoing scans. We are keeping a close watch on them and will provide all possible help to them.

DDCA statement

Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) president Rohan Jaitley said, “We are in touch with the hospital and they have informed that Rishabh is progressing well. We will provide all necessary help to his family. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Former Indian cricketer and National Cricket Academy President VVS Laxman tweeted, “Thankfully he is out of danger. We pray for his speedy recovery.

Pant’s IPL team Delhi Capitals head coach Ricky Ponting prayed for Pant’s speedy recovery. “Get well soon,” said former Indian opener Virender Sehwag. Indian opener Abhinav Mukund and former cricketer Suresh Raina have prayed for Pant’s speedy recovery while Afghanistan T20 captain Rashid Khan prayed for Pant’s speedy recovery.
