Rahul Gandhi’s minimal clothing has drawn curiosity for 3,400 kms during the 125 days journey so far. He said he would wear more clothes if he feels cold, which hasn’t been the case so far. Rahul Gandhi has seen wearing a t-shirt even in the chilly weather of north India during the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Rahul Gandhi has seen wearing windcheater over a white T-shirt for the first time. He was later seen removing the jacket, and walking in his signature white t-shirt.

The yatra was scheduled to start at 7 am Today, but delayed by an hour and fifteen minutes apparently due to the rains.

Congress leader resumes his Bharat Jodo Yatra from Hatli Morh in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday with several prominent leaders, including MP Sanjay Raut.

 

Shiv Sena leaders Join Bharat Jodo Yatra

Shiv Sena leader has joined Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir. “I have come to join the yatra on behalf of my party. The atmosphere in the country is changing fast and I am seeing Gandhi as a leader who is raising his voice on real issues,” Sanjay Raut said.

“The way people are connecting with this yatra is heartwarming. He is a leader and that is why he is on the roads. The people will choose (who would be their leader), he added.

The yatra has started from Kanyakumari on 7 September 2022, entered Jammu and Kashmir from Punjab on 19 January 2023 evening and is scheduled to end in Srinagar on 30 January2023.

The Bharat Jodo Yatra will halt for the night at Chadwal. It will cover 25 km before halting at Chadwal in the Kathua district for the night. There will be no march on Saturday.

Several Congress leaders accompanied Gandhi during the final leg of the Bharat Jodo Yatra including the party’s Jammu and Kashmir unit president Vikar Rasool Wani and his predecessor G A Mir.
