A ‘Past’ In A Refrigerator And The ‘Present’ In The Room: Mehrauli Murder

Aftab made the confession, according to the police, while being questioned.

While Shraddha Walker’s body parts were still put in the just delivered fridge, it was discovered during the investigation into the Shraddha murder case in Delhi that the accused, Aftab Amin Poonawala, reportedly brought another lady to the rented apartment in Mehrauli, South Delhi, for a date.

According to the report, Aftab downloaded the Bumble dating app soon after the murder. He made contact with another lady who worked as a psychotherapist, through the dating app. Notably, Bumble is the same dating platform where he originally connected with Shraddha in 2019, according to sources.

The investigation also revealed that Aftab met another woman through a dating app who paid him a few visits to his home in June and July. While Aftab was entertaining the new woman at his apartment, Shraddha’s remains were still in the refrigerator.

Aftab did everything to ensure no one missed Shraddha.

Messages Shraddha got on her phone after her death, according to reports, appear to have been answered by Aftab. He took care of her credit card debt. In order to give the idea that she was still alive, he also hacked into her social media accounts and sent messages to her friends.
