‘The Kerala Story’ Is Set To Release On This OTT Platform Next Month

The ‘The Kerala Story’ has done phenomenally good and was much loved and appreciated by the audience despite the controversies. People have been waiting for a very long time for the release of film on OTT Platform. After making 200 crores at the box office, the movie is all set to release on OTT platform.

Movie to release on Zee5

According to the reports leading OTT platform Zee5 has bought the OTT rights of ‘The Kerala Story’ and soon in June the movie will be released online. Though, the official date for the release of the movie is not announced yet. As per the reports on fourth Monday the movie made around Rs 2.10 crores. The total box office collection of ‘The Kerala Story’ is Rs 227.07 crore.

Film is tax-free in UP, MP

The movie is directed by Sudipto Sen and produced by Vipul Shah. The lead actors in the movie were Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani and Siddhi Idnani. ‘The Kerala Story’ was declared tax free in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Harayana. However, West Bengal has put a ban on the movie fearing it may create unrest and tension.

Zee5 has partnered with these big banners

The leading OTT platform Zee5 has partnered with many big banners like Dharma Productions, Salman Khan Films, Bhanushali Studios, The Viral Fever (TVF), Goldie Behl’s Rose Audio Visuals, Applause Entertainment for the further upcoming releases.

Adah penned note for audience

Adah Sharma shared a post on instagram thanking the audience for making ‘The Kerala Story’ a success. The actress captioned, “The best things in life are unexpected- because there were no expectations. Thank You audience for making this happen. Recently, again she shared post and said, “Wow fourth weekend and so many of you in theatres for #The Kerela story! So grateful. Thank you everyone for giving me role in every movie to be in theatres now with this one.
