Bholaa Sees Dip On Day 2, Ajay Devgn Starrer Performs Worse Than Shivaay

After a solid opening at the box office, Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s Bholaa struggled to attract audiences on its second day. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Bholaa made Rs 11.20 crore on its first day, but on Day 2, it only made Rs 7.40 crore. The total for the two days is currently approximately Rs 18.60 crore.

Day 2 collection of Bholaa

According to Box Office India, the film’s Friday theatre occupancy was 11.02 per cent. Despite the film’s generally positive reviews, the decline in national chains was estimated to be around 35%.
Although Ajay’s most recent film, Drishyam 2, grossed more than Rs 200 crore at the box office, Bholaa’s performance is comparable to Shivaay, which was also directed by Devgn. Shivaay made Rs 10.24 crore on its opening day, but it eventually managed to make Rs 100 crore during its run. Shivaay was released in contrast to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, directed by Karan Johar, which did slightly better at the ticket counters.

Bholaa vs. Dasara

Bholaa faces competition from Nani’s Dasara, which has been widely distributed throughout India. Dasara was one of Nani’s biggest openings, opening with a worldwide gross of Rs 38 crore.

The reason behind Bholaa’s downfall

The extended weekend will be challenging for Bholaa, so the weekend’s sales are being closely watched. The ongoing IPL 2023 could hurt the Hindi remake of Kaithi, Bholaa by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Due to the holy month of Ramzan, there may also be a dip in the collections in various locations.
Even so, it will be interesting to learn which OTT platform Bholaa will be available on.

Presently, it will be critical to see whether Bholaa’s collection will increase with the ongoing Tata IPL 2023.
