Designer Masaba Gupta and actor Satyadeep Misra secretly got court married on Friday. While sharing a matching post on their Instagram handle, the newlyweds announced they were married.
The wedding photos showed the bride and groom wearing pink outfits from her design label House of Masaba.
Masaba wore a pink embroidered blouse with a voluminous lehenga featuring elaborate embroidered leafy motifs and a heavy gold border. She sported two dupattas to go with her lehenga, each one set neatly on her shoulders. She revisited her mother’s jewellery box and “layered all the vintage stuff she had collected over the years”.
The caption of the wedding post reads: “Married my ocean of calm, this morning. Here’s to many many lifetimes of love, peace, stability and most importantly laughter. And thanks for letting me pick the caption – this is gonna be great!”

Ahead of sharing the post, the message flooded the comments thread shortly. Several celebrities including the newlywed Athiya Shetty, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Anil Kapoor and Mira Kapoor, wrote: “Congratulations.”
The Liger actress, Ananya Panday has also expressed her happiness and wrote, “Stunning only love.”
According to Vogue, the famous fashion designer, Masaba and actor Satyadeep had a court marriage. “The idea was to keep it very small and in the presence of our immediate family. We wanted it to be very intimate because we felt that that was the right thing to do and we will not be celebrating in a big way going forward. However, there will be a party with close friends and family about 80-85 people who’ve had a meaningful relationship with Satyadeep and me,” the bride, Masaba told Vogue.
The newlywed couple met each other on the sets of her famous Netflix show, Masaba Masaba. They have been making appearances on each other’s Instagram since 2020. Masaba was previously married to producer Madhu Mantena and Satyadeep to actress Aditi Rao-Hydari.
