Chikhlia stated, “I believe this is a major problem with actors nowadays, as they neither enter the character nor understand its emotions. For them, the ‘Ramayan’ must have been just an ordinary film. Perhaps, they haven’t connected with it on a spiritual level.
Today, giving someone a hug or a kiss is regarded as a kind gesture. Kriti would have never thought of herself as Sita Ji. It becomes a matter of emotions.
I have lived the Sita persona, whereas modern actresses only see it as a performance.
After the movie or project is finished, people lose interest.

Dipika remembers her old days
The Ramayana actress went back to the old days and remembered how those days were. She revealed that no one used to take their names when they were on the set. People used to touch their feet and give them respect.
“It was a different era. At that time, they didn’t see us as actors, they saw us as gods. We couldn’t even hug anyone, let alone a kiss,” She mentioned.
After the film’s release, the Adipurush performers will surely get distracted with their upcoming projects and may lose sight of their characters.
Yet, it’s never happened with us.
We were treated as if we were gods living on this globe who had descended from above.
That is why we never did anything that might offend anyone, she said.
