99th Edition Of ‘Mann Ki Baat’; PM Modi Addressed Nation On These Topics

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi addressed the public the nation at 11 this morning. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude towards the public of the nation. He also asked for public views and suggestion for his next edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ that mark century of this monthly Radio Program.

In his entire address, he spoke about various topics pertaining to various parts of the nation and society. He talked about women’s empowerment, organ donation, and renewable energy. Jammu and Kashmir was the highlighted state during his speech. The state is doing exceptionally well in the farming of Nadru and Lavendar. they are even able to export their produce to other nations.

India’s youngest organ donor

Abadat Kaur is the youngest organ donor in Indian history. She was just 39 days old when she died due to her growing heart. Following this, her parents took the decision of donating her organs. But for such a young girl, only kidneys could be donated. PM Modi talked to the child’s parents during the program.

Another case of organ donation was discussed. It was of a 63-year-old Snehlata Chowdhury who donated her organs. She was able to save 4 lives also, and 2 people were able to see because of her eye donation.

After discussing the cases, the PM also inspired people to donate their organs. He also assured people of changes in the policies of organ donation.

Women Empowerment

Modi also shared the proud feeling that he has about the women of the nation. They are doing really well in all the fields, be it sports or even the army. He congratulated Surekha Yadav who has recently been appointed as the first female loco pilot in the luxury Vande Bharat train.

He also praised the makers of ‘Elephant Whisperers’, Kartiki Gonsalves and Guneet Monga for their amazing win the Oscars 2023. In addition to this, he mentioned the victory of the Women’s Cricket team in the T20 World Cup earlier this year.

Women have also come out well in the field of politics. Quoting the example, PM Modi mentioned that Nagaland has got its first 2 women ministers, Salhoutuono Kruse and Hekani Jakhalu. They have created history indeed. This list could go on and on, said the PM.

India growing in Solar Power

PM discussed the ability of the nation in the field of solar energy. He applauded the people of the MSR-olive housing society of Pune, Maharashtra. In society, people have decided unanimously to use solar energy for collective use.

A similar situation was seen in the district of Diu of Daman & Diu. It depends a hundred percent on clean energy methods during the day. It is able to produce more energy than required.
