Adani Foundation team giving children screening and wash kit
Adani Foundation is constantly journeying on its philanthropy path. Through its organized attempts lives of many malnourished kids are going to be saved livening all the future hopes of life for them.
Adani Wilmar: Adani Foundation, run by Adani Wilmar, a company of Adani Group, works for many sections of the society. The Foundation has been running a special campaign since 2017 in Varanasi, the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Under this program for malnourished kids, 97 slums of the district have been identified by Adani Foundation. Subsequently, the screening (searching) of severely malnourished children is done in these settlements. Then the kids are admitted to Pandit Deen Dayal Hospital in Pandeypur.
Treatment is done for 15 to 21 days
Malnourished children are identified and interacted with their families through Adani Foundation’s nutrition scheme. After that the children are admitted to the Nutrition Rehabilitation Center. Where treatment is done for about 15 to 21 days. After the treatment, when the children get well, then they are discharged from the hospital.
Wash kit is given while going home
When the children start going home after being discharged from the hospital, they are given wash kits towards the Adani Foundation. In which bucket, mug, water strainer, soap for washing clothes and bath, long-handled utensil for draining water, nail cutter, coconut oil and clean cotton towel for wiping hands, etc. are given. Along with this, how to use it is also taught.
