All of the main political parties have stepped up their political activity in anticipation of the Gujarat Assembly elections. The Aam Aadmi Party, which includes the Congress, has mobilised its entire resources in an effort to mount a fierce electoral campaign against the BJP, which now holds the majority in the state. Isudan Gadhvi was designated as the Aam Aadmi Party’s chief ministerial candidate for the first time during the Gujarat election campaign.

Pabubha Manek will go off against Gadhvi.

Pabubha Manek (66) has served as an MLA for the previous 32 years and has also served as Gujarat’s Health Minister in the past. At the age of 34, Pabubha was elected for the first time, and he continued to be elected after that.

We should let you know that Pabubha Manek has won every election from the Dwarka seat since 1990. Pabubha Manek won the first three elections as an independent before winning the election in 2002 on the platform of the Congress. After that, Pabubha Manek joined the BJP and won the 2007 election as well as the 2012 and 2017 elections.

Triangular Battle for the Dwarka seat

Political analysts predict a triangular election process if Isudan Gadhvi runs for office from the Dwarka seat on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party. In reality, this seat has served as the primary battleground in the previous several elections between the BJP and the Congress.

Pabubha Manek also prevailed in both of the most recent elections by a margin of fewer than 6,000 votes. The key question in this scenario is whether Isudan Gadhvi will be able to break through Pabubha Manek’s defences.
