Gujrat Election: Isudan Gadhvi’s Triangular Battle

Gujrat Election: There was debate over Isudan Gadhvi’s primary seat when the Aam Aadmi Party selected him for the position of Chief Minister. Isudan will run from the Dwarka seat, according to the announcement.

To choose the candidate’s appearance for Gujarat’s chief minister position, the Aam Aadmi Party organised a WhatsApp poll. Isudan won this election as the candidate for chief minister after receiving more votes than Gopal Italia.

Gopal Italia, the state president of the Aam Aadmi Party, ran before from the Surat Katargam seat, and Manoj Sorathiya, the state general secretary, ran from the Karanj seat.

Vote Sharing in the Dwarka Seat
It should be noted that the Gadhvi community has more over 6,000 registered voters in the Dwarka seat. The Ahir community has 56 thousand voters, the Dalwadi community has 35 thousand, the Ladhumati society has 36 thousand, and the Koli group has 14 thousand registered voters in the Dwarka seat.

13 thousand Brahmins, 12,000 Lohana votes, and 11,000 Kshatriya voters make up the community of Dwarka. Isudan Gadhvi worked as a reporter. He is now bringing attention to challenges facing farmers with his show “Mahamanthan.” He is well-liked among farmers as a result.

All of the main political parties have stepped up their political activity in anticipation of the Gujarat Assembly elections. The Aam Aadmi Party, which includes the Congress, has mobilised its entire resources in an effort to mount a fierce electoral campaign against the BJP, which now holds the majority in the state. Isudan Gadhvi was designated as the Aam Aadmi Party’s chief ministerial candidate for the first time during the Gujarat election campaign.

Pabubha Manek will go off against Gadhvi.

Pabubha Manek (66) has served as an MLA for the previous 32 years and has also served as Gujarat’s Health Minister in the past. At the age of 34, Pabubha was elected for the first time, and he continued to be elected after that.

We should let you know that Pabubha Manek has won every election from the Dwarka seat since 1990. Pabubha Manek won the first three elections as an independent before winning the election in 2002 on the platform of the Congress. After that, Pabubha Manek joined the BJP and won the 2007 election as well as the 2012 and 2017 elections.

Congress used to hold sway in this seat. Pabubha Manek of the BJP received 73,431 votes in the 2017 assembly elections, defeating Ahir Meraman Markhi of the Congress by a margin of 5,739 votes.

Triangular Battle for the Dwarka seat

Political analysts predict a triangular election process if Isudan Gadhvi runs for office from the Dwarka seat on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party. In reality, this seat has served as the primary battleground in the previous several elections between the BJP and the Congress.

Pabubha Manek also prevailed in both of the most recent elections by a margin of fewer than 6,000 votes. The key question in this scenario is whether Isudan Gadhvi will be able to break through Pabubha Manek’s defences.
