Is Odisha CM Navin Patnaik Expecting PM Modi’s Return In 2024? Know Here

To the apparent dismay of other non-BJP parties, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik stated on Thursday that he hoped Prime Minister Modi would visit Puri within the next four years to officially open the projected airport in the seashore temple town.

“PM Modi to return in 2024,” Navin Patnaik

At a gathering where Modi essentially launched the Puri-Howrah Vande Bharat, Naveen remarked, “I am hopeful that with your cooperation and support, within three to four years, this airport will be ready, and the honorable PM will come to Shreekhetra to inaugurate the Puri International Airport.”
The announcement coincides with key non-BJP parties’ attempts to unite the opposition ahead of the election, particularly in the wake of the Congress’ upset victory over the saffron party in Karnataka. Recent meetings between the reticent Naveen and the chief ministers of Bihar and Bengal, Mamata Banerjee and Nitish Kumar, appeared to be an effort to bring the opposition together.

Modi visits Puri

Assuming PM Modi visits Puri to open the airport in the next four years: Naveen Patnaik, the chief minister of Odisha, suggests that the BJP may run again in the 2024 elections.
Naveen, however, announced he would not be a part of any third front and that his party, the BJD, would go it alone in the crucial 2024 general election after visiting Modi in New Delhi on May 11, ostensibly to discuss the airport project.

Naveen stated in detail that he discussed the proposed airport with the PM during the Vande Bharat inauguration. According to Naveen, the introduction of the Vande Bharat train is a step in the right direction toward realizing the goal of bringing bullet trains to India.
