Bihar CM, Nitish Kumar meets Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal
It was just yesterday that Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister of Bihar met Congress Leader and Chief Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge in a “Historic meet” respectively. Their meeting has caught the eyes of the audience. It was communicated that the two opposition parties will unite to fight against the centre. On the same day, Nitish Kumar also met the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal with regard to the same matter. All this seems like all grouping against one to bring him down.
“A good initiative of gathering all opposition parties”
Mr. Kejriwal expressed himself in the media and appreciated Bihar CM on his initiative of uniting all opposition parties. He said, “Nitish ji has taken a good initiative of gathering all opposition parties under one roof. We are on board with this and like the way it is adding up.”
Taking a jibe at the Centre Government of BJP, Arvind Kejriwal said, “The country is going through a very difficult time. I have said many times that probably the most corrupt government is in the country today since independence.”Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has a sharp rivalry with the Centre Government. He often accuses the centre of trying to derail Delhi’s progress via the Lieutenant Governor.

Nitish Kumar meets Congress
The top representatives of the Congress and the Janata Dal (United), or JD(U), met for the first time in an official capacity with the goal of fostering opposition unity ahead of the 2024 elections.
“We held a historic meeting here. A lot of issues were discussed and we decided that we will unite all parties and fight the upcoming polls in a united manner. We have made this decision and all of us will work for this,” Mr. Gandhi told reporters, with the other leaders flanking him.
In agreement with Mr. Gandhi, the Bihar Chief Minister said, “We will make all efforts to unite more and more parties in the country.”
A coalition administration led by the JD(U), Rashtriya Janata Dal, and Congress presides over Bihar. More opposition leaders will probably meet with Mr. Kumar in Delhi. Mr. Kharge has also communicated with other individuals, such as MK Stalin of the DMK and Uddhav Thackeray of the Shiv Sena, in an effort to bring “like-minded” groups together to oppose the BJP.
