Papaua New Guinea PM Marape Touches PM Modi’s FEET To Welcome Him, Watch Here

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Papua New Guinea on Sunday for the Forum for India-Pacific Islands Cooperation (FIPIC) conference, PM James Marape gave him a warm greeting.

It is Modi’s first trip to the nation, and he and the prime minister of Papua New Guinea will be hosting the third FIPIC conference.

PM Modi tweeted:

“A very special gesture by Prime Minister Marape here, who has come personally to the airport to receive Prime Minister Modi,” said Ministry of External Affairs spokeswoman Arindam Bagchi in a video uploaded on Twitter.

In addition to having one-on-one conversations with the nation’s leaders, he continued, Modi will attend the FIPIC meeting in the morning. Additionally, there will be bilateral discussions with the prime minister of New Zealand.

Narendra Modi to visit Sydney

Modi will travel to Sydney, Australia, for the Quad summit on the third and last day of his three-nation journey, which began with the G7 summit in Hiroshima, Japan, from May 22 to 24.
