AAP makes their first move in Rajasthan elections

Amidst the long-going tussle between BJP and Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has made its first move towards the upcoming Rajasthan elections battleground. The AAP’s “Tiranga Rally” in the pink city of Jaipur aimed to attract the public of the state in order to vow votes.

While addressing the crowd, the Chief Minister of Delhi said “Ashok Gehlot and Vasundhara Raje are good friends… Give the common man a chance too”. He simply wished to pitch in his party member as a prospective CM to the politically colourful state.

Rajasthan is known to have an alternative government system between Congress and Bhartiya Janata Party and as per the pattern, the next elections will see BJP on the throne.

Internal clashes in BJP

The former Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje is willing to get her name pitched by the central leaders of the nation. Even though there are disagreements going on between Ms Raje and the Party’s strategist, Amit Shah on many issues.

Many leaders of the party like  BJP Chief Satish Poonia, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekawat and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla are waiting to play the role. They are all keen to take the position along with Ashwini Vaishnaw as the latest addition to the list.

The “RE-nowned” tussle of Congress

The most popular tussle between two prominent Congress Leaders, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and his former Deputy Sachin Pilot is still looked at, the most. This is not hidden from anyone, since the two come up to comment publicly on each other.

This entire dispute is just going to assist one Party, and they have made their move taking the advantage of the situation.

AAP manifestoes for elections

AAP is assumed to fight on all the 200 seats with a broad agenda of Health and Education in the state. They are also hoping to attract the youth, as stated by a local party member.

Speaking to the media, an AAP worker from Shergarh in Jodhpur district said, “In the Congress, Gehlot is fighting Sachin (Pilot). The BJP, they are all against Vasundhara (Raje). So the Aam Aadmi Party can occupy the political space in between.” This particular statement of the AAP Worker highlights how they are trying to enter to state politically.

Furthermore, Punjab CM Bhagwant Maan while accompanying Kejriwal asked the people to bring out their brooms and sweep out corruption. Considering the above statements, it is presumed that AAP will be able to dilute the vote share of the other two parties in the coming elections.
