Republic Day 2023: The national flag is hoisted on the occasion of Republic Day at the clock tower located in Lal Chowk, Srinagar. The main event has been organized at MA Stadium in Jammu. In Jammu, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha unfurled the tricolor flag and took the salute of the parade.

The main program on this occasion in Srinagar has been organized at Sher-e-Kashmir. Whereas, the main event has been organized at MA Stadium in Jammu. In Jammu, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha unfurled the tricolor flag and took the salute of the parade.

Due to Republic Day, security has been beefed up across the state. Uniformed men from various security agencies are on full alert. Anti-national elements are being monitored from ground to sky. MA Stadium and its surroundings are being monitored by police drones. At the same time, drones are also being monitored in all the sensitive places and areas of the main city of the state. District police and paramilitary forces have been deployed at various places.
