The Crime Branch team observed that the individuals who were employed by the con man Ashish Chowdhary to operate as constables, clerks, and orderlies in this fictitious office of the Union Home Ministry were conducting their business as usual. The “logo” and board of the Department of Criminal Intelligence were also posted behind Ashish Chowdhary’s office. A lot of delicate material has also been taken from the location by the crime branch.
Fraud continued for a whole year
According to crime branch sources, the fraudster gang has been operating this bogus Union Home Ministry training centre in Jafarpur Kalan for the past year. In such a case, the question arises as to what the beat system, widely regarded as the police force’s backbone, was doing. The most important fact is that the fraud gang hired this centre, which is located on approximately 400 yards of land.
