“What Will Happen If Enemy Comes On The Roads Made By Us,” Modi Slams Congress For Underestimating Military’s Bravery

Prime Minister Narendra Modi charged the Congress with underestimating the military’s bravery and said that the Congress governments did not carry out development work in border areas, fearing the enemy could exploit the new roads to advance into the country.

Modi’s Statment

He was speaking at a BJP rally in Dausa just after the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway’s first section was officially opened. He said that the expressway would speed up development in Rajasthan.

In Rajasthan, where assembly elections are scheduled for this year’s end, Modi similarly charged the Congress administration with lacking vision and hindering the state’s growth, claiming its plans and declarations were only on paper. According to Modi, Rajasthan would have advanced more quickly, If the BJP had been in power both at the national level and in the state.

At a BJP event in the Dausa district, Modi said that the Congress government has avoided development work in border villages and areas out of fear. “They have said in parliament what will happen if the enemy comes on the roads created by us,” he said.

“The Congress has always underestimated the valour and bravery of our soldiers. Our forces know how to stop the enemy at the border and give them a befitting reply,” he said.

According to Modi, when the government invests in highway projects, ports, railroads, optical fibre, and the opening of medical colleges, it strengthens industries, small business owners, and traders. “Infrastructure investment brings in more investment,” This first finished portion of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, which was built at a cost of more than Rs 12,150 crore, will significantly increase the economic growth of the entire region.

The PM announced that persons who travel to Delhi for employment can now return to their residence in the evening after completing their work. According to the PM, rural “haats” are being created near the expressway so that local artists can sell their arts

Rajasthan is already well-known for its tourism industry and the new infrastructure project would make it even more attractive.

According to Modi, the BJP is establishing Rajasthan as the country’s most important pillar of development. If Rajasthan’s culture and pride are to be preserved, the BJP needs to be elected, he remarked.

“Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas is our mantra for the nation, and we are making a ‘Samarth Bharat’ (able India) while following it,” he said.
