The AP QueerStation and the Oju Government assistance Affiliation (OWA) together coordinated a LGBTQIA+ meetup here on Sunday.

Over forty attendees, including allies and members of queer communities, attended the event.

During the meetup, six short films about the lives and struggles of LGBTQ+ people from all over the spectrum were shown.

During the occasion, Sawang Wangchha, an eccentric dissident, featured the meaning of remaining informed about the continuous hearing in the High Court in regards to marriage freedoms and why it is fundamental for the local area’s advancement. Furthermore, a couple of people from the eccentric local area who are still in the storage room shared their own accounts of battle.

The OWA’s ladies helpline executive Binny Yachu inspired the participants to stay solid, battle for their freedoms, and not lose trust. She emphasized the significance of the community’s partnership with the OWA in the fight for other vulnerable groups, such as children who are the victims of child labor, sexual abuse, domestic violence, and trafficking, and women.

The AP QueerStation group offered thanks to OWA executive Anya Ratan for stretching out warm greeting to the LGBTQIA+ people group of Arunachal Pradesh and giving a place of refuge to them to direct occasions, as well as giving sanctuary to weak eccentric people out of luck.
